Wheels on a shopping cart LORD OF THE RINGS THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING LORD OF THE RINGS THE TWO TOWERS THE LORD OF THE RINGS THE RETURN OF THE KING THE RINGS OF POWER

What it means

A four-panel collage compares The Lord of the Rings films with The Rings of Power, while the caption says “Wheels on a shopping cart.” The joke mocks the newer series as a cheap or unstable imitation of the original trilogy, like a shopping cart with faulty wheels. It is used as a sarcastic reaction to a disappointing remake, sequel, or adaptation.
