Virtus et Honor

VIRTUS ET HONOR

EN: On a road, a person on an unusual bicycle pulls a contraption decorated with the Ukrainian flag and Peppa Pig’s head, then the clip cuts to an absurdly heroic-looking cyclist in red clothing with the Russian flag. The caption “VIRTUS ET HONOR” — “virtue and honor” — turns the ridiculous scene into a parody of an epic heroic moment, while the floating piece of bacon makes it even more surreal. Jeff van Dyck’s “Journey to Rome, Pt. 2” featuring Angela van Dyck plays in the background, creating a comic contrast between the silly video and the grandiose mood.
