Choose your Landsknecht Doppelsoldner/Double Mercenary 1520s

A man dances and cycles through several flamboyant Renaissance landsknecht costumes, wielding polearms and swords, before appearing in full silver armor as a Doppelsöldner/Double Mercenary from the 1520s. The joke parodies character-selection screens: instead of choosing ordinary modern clothes, the men supposedly want extravagant historical mercenary outfits. The clip is set to Jim Walter’s “#ChooseYourCharacter,” whose energetic music and repeated transformation format make the costume reveal feel like a dramatic game character selection.
