Girls and Boys Birthday
Girls birthday Boys birthday
A teenage girl dramatically presents her phone for her birthday, then the clip cuts to a gray-haired man quietly eating cake at a kitchen table. The joke contrasts a stylish, performative girls’ birthday with a simple, unbothered boys’ birthday; the celebratory “It’s my birthday! Ta-da!” audio and Mr.Kitty’s darkwave song “After Dark” make the contrast more ironic and deadpan.
