Kitty City Cat Multiplication

STOP

A surreal animated street scene begins with a few sleepy cats crossing the road, then rapidly fills with multiplying, merging and floating copies of the same cats. The absurd escalation turns ordinary traffic into an overwhelming feline swarm, making it useful as a reaction to chaos, repetition or something spiraling out of control. The clip is accompanied by Cyriak Harris’s strange, playful electronic track “Kitty City,” whose hypnotic video-game-like music intensifies the surreal joke.
