Can't Surrender It's Not Your Country
when you can't surrender unconditionally cause it's not your country
A collage shows Tom Cruise and Ken Watanabe in The Last Samurai, with one character appearing deeply distressed and contemplative. The caption jokes about refusing to surrender unconditionally because the country involved is not your own, turning a dramatic war-film scene into an absurdly technical reaction to political or military defeat. People send it when they want to mock selective loyalty or an unwillingness to accept responsibility for someone else’s side.
