Emoji Designer Never Saw Black People
When u an emoji designer but never seen black people before
An emoji skin-tone selection panel shows increasingly darker faces, while below it a smiling blond-haired man with an unusually dark complexion holds up a beer mug. The joke is that a designer who has never seen Black people tried to create a dark-skinned emoji, producing an absurdly inaccurate result. It is sent as a reaction to cluelessness, stereotyping, or a badly executed attempt at representation.
