The Simpsons Soviet Cartoon Family

THE SIMPSONS x soviet animators Robert Sahakyants

What it means

A family resembling The Simpsons is drawn in the distinctive style of Soviet Armenian animator Robert Sahakyants, sitting together on a couch while a cat lies on a rug in the foreground. The joke is the unexpected crossover between a famous American cartoon family and surreal Soviet animation aesthetics, making it useful as a reaction to strange or uncanny artistic mashups.
