Trans Woman in Gotham
BATGIRL PLEASE, I'M A TRANS WOMAN IN GOTHAM. OF COURSE I HAVE A WEAPON.
A confident woman in black clothing stands in a comic-book scene holding an enormous colorful pencil like a weapon. The joke is a pun on “weapon” and the stereotype of Gotham being dangerous, while the character matter-of-factly says that being a trans woman in Gotham naturally means carrying one as protection. It is used as an absurd, self-assured reaction meme about being prepared for danger.
