Me in Public, My Headphones
Me in public: My headphones: CHRISTIAN & THE HEDGEHOG BOYS
A split-panel meme shows a quiet, suspicious-looking man wearing an earbud labeled “Me in public,” contrasted with Christian Weston Chandler enthusiastically performing with colorful Sonic the Hedgehog characters under the caption “My headphones.” The joke is that someone may appear reserved or socially awkward in public while listening to wildly energetic or embarrassing music internally. It is used as a reaction to contrast an outwardly serious persona with a chaotic private imagination or playlist.
