Standard Huey Helicopter Equipment

standard equipment on all Huey helicopters SYS 2 BLEED 1 FORTUNATE SON AP TIMER NO SMKG OFF ON

A close-up of a helicopter control panel labeled with “FORTUNATE SON,” alongside the caption “standard equipment on all Huey helicopters.” The joke references the iconic use of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Fortunate Son” in Vietnam War helicopter scenes and memes, implying every Huey is equipped to play the song. It is used as a reaction to exaggerated or stereotypical Vietnam War imagery.
