Disney Female Animal Design
Disney: How do we ensure the audience recognised the animal is female? Animators:
A red squirrel sits upright on a tree stump in a grassy woodland. The joke is that Disney animators supposedly make female animals instantly recognisable by giving them exaggeratedly prominent breasts, even when the animal is otherwise ordinary. It is used as a sarcastic reaction to overly obvious gender design in animated characters.
