A child asks his father what “Civilization” is, and the father warns that it is a game that will ruin his life. In the final panel, the child has grown into a German-accented, mustachioed Civilization addict, joking that the warning came too late. It is used as a reaction to the dangerously addictive nature of the Civilization video game series.
