Petting a Dog Among Strangers

When you pet a dog and the owner says, “wow he never lets strangers do that.”

A person pets a dog, depicted in a fantasy forest scene surrounded by wild animals and a bearded rider. The joke is that the dog supposedly never allows strangers to touch it, yet it is calmly accepting affection, making the sender seem unusually trusted or special. This is used as a humorous reaction to being unexpectedly liked or accepted by someone usually cautious.
