PERSON of the YEAR TIME DEC 23 / DEC 30, 2019
Baby Yoda from The Mandalorian is shown holding a cup on the cover of a parody TIME magazine, humorously presented as the “Person of the Year.” The joke celebrates the character’s sudden popularity and treats a fictional alien child like a globally influential public figure.
