Shinji, Get in the Robot
Shinji, get in the robot. Ok, boomer.
Gendo Ikari from Neon Genesis Evangelion tells Shinji to get into the robot, but Shinji replies, “Ok, boomer.” The joke combines the iconic anime command with a dismissive modern retort, used as a reaction to out-of-touch advice or older-generation demands.
