My Mum Wants Me to Call Her
my mum 0.3 sec after telling me to call her
A montage shows increasingly absurd ways a phone is destroyed: a dancer appears to smash or discard one, another phone falls down a stairwell, an old Nokia is crushed in machinery, and the final phone is flattened under a press. The joke is that the mother’s request to call is treated as an immediate emergency, with the escalating destruction acting as an exaggerated reaction. James BBCore’s “Solo Quiero Ser Uno De Ellos,” a Latin pop song, gives the clip a dramatic, upbeat mood that makes the destruction even funnier.
