Make More Specs
ECMA TC39 ECMAScript spec compliance in browsers is down 2.5% this quarter. It is time we add more test262 coverage. It will help vendors validate their implementations and improve compliance going forward. CSSWG MAKE MORE SPECS SPECS SPECS
A two-panel hand-drawn comic shows standards-group presenters reacting to browser compliance data. The joke is that declining ECMAScript compliance is addressed by the CSS working group’s simplistic solution: make more specifications, causing the number of specs to rise while compliance is ignored.
