Do You Like American Psycho?

Do you like alike of male duplicitous Lionsgate

A fast-cut vertical parody edit of American Psycho, showing Patrick Bateman in a suit, reacting intensely, watching a home video, and attacking someone with an axe. The serious-sounding film commentary is humorously interrupted and paired with dramatic visuals and music, turning the movie’s discussion of male vanity and duplicity into an absurd reaction meme. Do you like American Psycho? It's... okay. Although originally polarizing to audiences and critics alike, it developed a much-deserved cult following when released on digital video disc, or DVD. The movie works, both as a grim examination of male vanity, while also maintaining real genre thrills, justifying these total shifts by placing the audience inside the head of the duplicitous lead character. The role almost went to Leo, but nobody could have brought that certain ethos and charisma to it, quite like Bale. In 2005, Alliance Gate released this, the Uncutting. I think it's an undisputed masterpiece, a movie so entertaining, most people probably don't listen to the message. Most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just a great character study, but a sardonic metaphor for 1980s greed and materialism. Hey Al! AHHHHH! I tried parodying one of my songs, now I get stupid bastard.
