Bulgaria Keeps Dreaming

Text on the meme

bulgaria the past 2 years: - schengen - € zone - eurovision - giro d'italia all without a proper government 🇧🇬🇧🇬 always keep dreamin

What it means

A young man records a playful selfie video in front of a graffiti-covered railway bridge as a train passes behind him. The captions jokingly celebrate Bulgaria achieving Schengen membership, joining the euro zone, Eurovision, and Giro d’Italia despite lacking a proper government, while the Bulgarian flags and the optimistic line “always keep dreamin” make the political situation absurdly triumphant. Edward Maya & Vika Jigulina’s upbeat dance track “Stereo Love” adds an ironic, celebratory mood and makes the joke feel like an over-the-top national victory montage.
