The Sky Above the Port
The sky above the port was the color of television, tuned to a dead channel. 1985 2005 2025
A futuristic city skyline is shown in three versions labeled 1985, 2005, and 2025. The image parodies the opening line of Neuromancer, with television static in 1985, a blue digital-looking sky in 2005, and streaming-service logos filling the 2025 skyline. It is used as a humorous reaction to changing media technology and the dominance of streaming platforms. EN: A futuristic city skyline is shown in three versions labeled 1985, 2005, and 2025.
