L1 Burned Up
L1 burned up Ah — that makes sense, and it's my fault: the way I drew it earlier effectively put DC across L1 (i.e., a near-short from +9V → Q1 → L1 → GND), which will absolutely make an inductor get hot/smoke. Why L1 burned
A breadboard circuit is shown with an inductor visibly burning, accompanied by a technical explanation that DC was accidentally placed across L1, creating a near-short and causing the component to overheat. The joke is the blunt engineering admission that the inductor burned because of the creator’s own wiring mistake, making it a reaction to debugging failures and self-inflicted technical problems.
