Let It Happen Drift
IT'S GONNA CARRY OFF ALL THAT ISN'T BOUND AND AND WHEN IT HAPPENS, WHEN HAPPENS (I WON'T) SO LET IT HAPPEN, LET IT HAPPEN
A tiny plush toy wearing white headphones sits in the passenger seat as the clip cuts to a black car drifting through a parking lot, surrounded by thick tire smoke. The escalating lyrics culminate in “SO LET IT HAPPEN,” while the car loses itself in the smoke, turning the song’s message into an absurd surrender-to-chaos joke. The audio uses Tame Impala’s psychedelic pop track “Let It Happen,” whose dreamy, hypnotic mood contrasts humorously with the reckless drifting and makes the clip feel like an overdramatic reaction to letting things go.
