Christian Youth Rap Sermon
Well I wrote this song I wanna teach kids the kids on the street then do a hip hop beat My crew is big and that's cuz Jesus Christ
A bespectacled man in a tan suit performs into a microphone in a church decorated with crosses, briefly shown alongside a smiling group of teenagers before appearing in sunglasses by a fence. The earnest sermon-like presentation becomes absurd as the song switches into boastful hip-hop language and ends with an offensive rhyme about Jesus. The audio is “Rapping For Jesus” by Remix City, an upbeat Christian rap/hip-hop track whose cheerful delivery heightens the cringe comedy. I wrote this song for the Christian youth. I wanna teach kids the Christian truth. If you wanna reach those kids on the street, then you gotta do a rap, do a hip hop beat. So I gave my sermon an urban kick. My rhymes are flying, my beats are sick. My crew is big and it keeps getting bigger. That's cause Jesus Christ is my nigga.
