Gustavo Fring's Terrible Spanish
In Breaking Bad (2008), Gustavo Fring speaks the worst imaginable Spanish and his accent is incomprehensible. This is a subtle reference to the fact that the character is Chilean.
Gustavo Fring sits seriously in an office chair. The joke is that, despite being Chilean, he speaks supposedly terrible and incomprehensible Spanish in Breaking Bad, making fun of the character’s accent and the translation’s absurd explanation.
