We Invented Lemons Ourselves
Just found out A Lemon is a hybrid a Bitter Orange! and a Citron! NEVER We invented them... all by OURSELVES
A dramatic sequence of antique still-life paintings shows lemons, oranges, citrons, fruit, glassware, and peeled citrus while captions reveal that lemons are hybrids of bitter oranges and citrons. The punchline is the mock-astonished realization that humans invented lemons themselves, humorously overturning the phrase “when life gives you lemons.” The joke is accompanied by the grand, suspenseful classical music of Orquesta Reino de Aragón & Ricardo Casero performing Symphony No. 9 in E Minor, Op. 95 “From the New World”: IV. Allegro con fuoco, whose dramatic mood makes the trivial botanical fact feel epic. Just found out that apparently a lemon isn't naturally occurring and is a hybrid by crossbreeding a bitter orange and a citron! Which means life never gave us lemons! We invented them all by ourselves!
