Charli xcx's $650 Boiler Room Set

Charli xcx charged $650,00 for her boiler room set and this was her opening song

A dark Boiler Room-style DJ set shows a female DJ working the controls while a packed crowd dances and raises their hands. The joke is that Charli xcx supposedly charged only $650.00 for the set, then opened with Alice Deejay’s cheesy, instantly recognizable eurodance hit “Better Off Alone,” making the performance feel hilariously underwhelming and unexpectedly nostalgic. The clip is set to Alice Deejay — “Better Off Alone (Mixed),” whose upbeat, repetitive dance sound makes the ironic contrast work.
