What it means

A collage of anime girls in various group settings is overlaid with a confession about loving to watch fictional girls develop the nourishing human connections the viewer has lacked throughout life. The joke is self-deprecating, contrasting the warmth and friendship of anime characters with the speaker’s loneliness, making it a reaction image for social isolation and escapism.
