A mock newspaper screenshot shows a stone bust of the ancient Mesopotamian copper merchant Ea-Nasir beneath a satirical headline claiming Donald Trump has appointed him Secretary of State for Metallurgy. The joke combines Trump’s political appointments with Ea-Nasir’s famous reputation from an ancient complaint tablet about poor-quality copper, making the absurdly specific appointment a reaction to bizarre political news.
