Panama Canal Kiss of Two Oceans

I didn't expect the Panama canal could be yuri, maybe i'm a bad person Kiss of Two Oceans. Postcard, 1923. CANADA UNITED STATES MEXICO PANAMA PACIFIC OCEAN ATLANTIC OCEAN NEWFOUNDLAND NOVA SCOTIA NEW YORK PHILADELPHIA SAVANNAH HAVANA CARACAS GEORGETOWN LIMA PARA BAHIA

A vintage 1923 postcard depicts the Americas as two human faces kissing where the Panama Canal connects the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. The joke is that the romantic image is interpreted as yuri, with the caption admitting that this unexpected reading may be morally questionable. It is used as an absurd reaction to accidentally finding romantic or sexual subtext in an innocent image.
