Department of Labor License Audit
This audit was repeated at the Department of Labor. Initial results: - 380 Microsoft 365 licenses with zero users - 128 Microsoft Teams conference room licenses; only installed in 30 rooms - 250 VSCode licenses; only using 33 - 129 Photoshop licenses; only using 22. - 5 cybersecurity licenses, each with > 20k seats; DOL headcount is < 15k
A screenshot of a Department of Government Efficiency post lists the results of an audit at the Department of Labor. The joke is that the agency paid for far more software licenses and seats than it actually uses, highlighting bureaucratic waste and excess spending. It is sent as a reaction to absurd government expenses, corporate waste, or unused subscriptions.
