Maslow's Hierarchy of Linux Needs
Self-fulfillment needs MONEY, LOVE, ETC Psychological needs FOOD, SHELTER, WATER NOT HAVING TO USE GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux Basic needs NOT HAVING TO USE Mac NOT HAVING TO USE Windows
A parody of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs presents avoiding Windows and Mac as basic needs, avoiding GNU/Linux as a higher psychological need, and money and love as self-fulfillment. The joke exaggerates Linux users’ preference for their operating system, treating software choice as more important than food, shelter, and water. It is used as a humorous reaction to intense Linux enthusiasm or operating-system debates.
