Me When I Cook Steak
Me when I cook
A cook in a white shirt and gray apron repeatedly washes his hands under a faucet, then seasons and sears a thick steak in a cast-iron skillet with butter before transferring it to a cutting board. The joke is that “cooking” is presented as an absurdly elaborate process that somehow keeps cutting back to washing hands, turning ordinary kitchen hygiene into the cook’s defining reaction. Running water and sizzling frying sounds emphasize the contrast and make the repeated gag feel rhythmic and comedic.
