What Are These Little Characters

Text on the meme

What are these things? These little characters BLiss and 7 others followed you

What it means

A Twitter/X-style screenshot shows a user asking what the small anime-style profile characters are, followed by a notification that BLiss and seven others followed them. The joke is that the row of colorful anime avatars looks strange or inexplicable to someone unfamiliar with online fandom culture, making the followers seem like mysterious little characters.
