Text on the meme

Et Maternus: 'perturbarer hac tua severitate, nisi frequens et assidua nobis contentio iam prope in consuetudinem vertisset. nam nec tu agitare et insequi

What it means

Hic imago e applicatione translationis ostendit locutionem Latinam, in qua verba “hac tua” clare selecta sunt. Iocus est in specie nimis seria et scholasticae citationis, quasi simplex locutio cotidiana subito examen Latinum facta sit. EN: This image from a translation app shows a Latin passage with the words “hac tua” clearly selected. The joke is the overly serious, scholarly appearance of the quote, as if an ordinary everyday phrase had suddenly become a Latin exam.
