Romanian Airport Salt Circle
I flew out of an airport in Romania once and the checkpoint security area had a salt circle around it, and when I asked the security guard what the salt circle was for he told me with the straightest face that it was to keep out vampires, he didn’t elaborate further, and just walked away.
A humorous imageboard anecdote describes a salt circle around an airport security checkpoint in Romania. The security guard claims it keeps out vampires, creating an absurdly serious response to a supernatural joke and making the image useful as a reaction to bizarre deadpan stories.
