Why Emulate a Super Fast Computer
Why don’t we just simply emulate a super fast computer, instead of using actual fast processors? Instead of tech companies selling really expensive computers with super fast processors, why don’t they just use a not so expensive processor and emulate a super fast computer?
A Reddit-style post asks why tech companies do not use inexpensive processors to emulate super-fast computers instead of selling computers with expensive fast processors. The joke is circular and absurd because emulating a fast computer on slower hardware would still require significant computational power, making the proposed solution impractical.
