Drunk Chicken Run Goes Wrong
It starts TEQUILA COMBINED WITH SOME SALT AND LIME, IRISH GOODBYE, STUMBLE INTO THE STREET The nugget meal I REACH FOR MY FOOD, I'M PRETTY F'ED UP IT ALL FELL APART AND DRANK TOO MUCH I DIDN'T GET MY CHICKEN
A bearded man performs Tom McGovern’s “One Drink” in a brightly lit recording studio, acting out a night that begins with wine and tequila, turns into drunken stumbling, and ends with him failing to get his chicken nuggets. The joke is the melodramatic musical delivery of an ordinary drunk-food disappointment, making it useful as a reaction to plans falling apart or being too intoxicated to accomplish something. It starts with one drink, a glass of wine, and then I take a shot with a friend of mine. Tequila combined with some salt and lime, and I chase with more wine. Now I'm drunk, and I need something to eat. Irish goodbye, stumble into the street. There's a Popeyes two minutes away, but I want Chick-fil-A. The Nuggets, me freeze for my food. I'm pretty fucked up, I grab it all wrong, and I watch.
