Cat Learns About Electricity

CAUTION RISK OF ELECTRICITY

A golden cat is shown in a series of playful, dangerous-looking situations involving water, a power strip, a charger, and a woman’s hair, followed by a warning sign reading “CAUTION RISK OF ELECTRICITY.” The cat then stares innocently at the camera and eats roasted meat, turning the mock electrical hazard into an absurd overreaction. La Banda Gorda’s upbeat Dominican merengue song “Hija Mía” makes the sequence feel dramatically funny and melodramatic, as though the cat has survived a serious ordeal.
