Dead Mouse 5 Wikipedia Hoax
Dead Mouse 5 From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia An event dubbed Dead Mouse 5 was the fifth time progressive house DJ Deadmau5 was mistaken for a real dead mouse. The actual DJ was late for a set at Swaggerfest 2013 due to complications in transport. One of the backstage-crew noticed the dead mouse, mistaking it for the DJ. The mouse was thrown onto the stage and the backing track automatically began to play. No one noticed for 2 hours. ‘Dead Mouse 5’ aka Colin - during happier times with his family. Date Unknown.
A fake Wikipedia article claims that progressive house DJ Deadmau5 was mistaken for a dead mouse and that the mouse was thrown onstage while the backing track played for two hours. The joke is a parody of the artist’s name and Wikipedia-style deadpan writing, presenting a group of mice as “Dead Mouse 5” and “Colin.” It is typically shared as an absurd reaction to a ridiculous story or an obvious hoax.
