How reverb plugins look now: How they used to look like...

What it means

A split image compares a modern reverb plugin interface with a vast, ornate cathedral interior. The joke is that old reverb plugins simulated spacious echo so dramatically that they looked like a cathedral, while modern plugins are compact and technical. It is a reaction to nostalgia for older audio software and exaggerated visual comparisons. EN: A split image compares a modern reverb plugin interface with a vast, ornate cathedral interior.
