Homo Means Homeless
Once in the fifth grade this kid called me "a homo" and I thought it meant homeless. And I was so confused I said "But Jeremy you've been to my house."
A young man in a backward cap and sleeveless denim shirt gestures while recounting a childhood misunderstanding about the word “homo.” He thought it meant “homeless,” so he confusingly told Jeremy that Jeremy had been to his house; the joke comes from the innocent misunderstanding of an offensive term. It is used as a reaction to embarrassing confusion or realizing you misunderstood something.
