Why is this design allowed in Germany

What it means

A handheld video pans across beer and other alcoholic drinks locked behind glass doors in a German supermarket, with a hand sticker marking the cabinet. The absurdly elaborate security design is treated like an overengineered response to ordinary drink theft, while Rammstein’s industrial-metal song “Sonne” makes the scene feel dramatically serious and exaggerated.
