Gorilla Landmine Patch Note

▪ Gorillas can be killed by land mines placed along forest paths. i was reading wikipedia about threats to gorilla conservation and i am deeply ashamed to admit that the mental image upon reading that a gorilla could step on a landmine made me laugh why does this read like a patch note

A screenshot shows a dry Wikipedia-style statement that gorillas can be killed by land mines along forest paths, followed by comments joking that the sentence evokes a funny mental image and sounds like a video game patch note. The punchline is the absurdly clinical wording of a tragic fact, which makes it resemble game mechanics or update notes.
