Europeans When Someone Smiles

europeans when someone smiles instead of skilometres

A close-up video of a tearful orange-and-white cat slowly zooms toward the camera while looking increasingly devastated. The caption jokes that Europeans become heartbroken when someone says “smiles” instead of the deliberately misspelled “skilometres,” using exaggerated cat sadness as a reaction to an absurd language mistake. The clip is set to Lord Huron’s melancholic song “The Night We Met,” whose wistful indie-folk mood makes the cat’s overdramatic grief even funnier.
