EN: The clip set to Linkin Park’s “In the End” rapidly cycles through nostalgic images of alternative culture and the early 2000s: Mountain Dew, a lava-lamp collection, a goth group, a Limp Bizkit cassette, a video store, an old game console, a racing toy car, and a Nokia phone menu. The music creates a melancholic mood and turns the collection of aesthetic artifacts into a humorous drama about nostalgia for a vanished era; the contrast between the epic chorus and mundane objects heightens the “things were better back then” feeling.
