Behold the Strange Ritual

Text on the meme

Behold.

What it means

A four-panel fantasy-style comic shows a hooded figure announcing “Behold,” followed by mysterious hand gestures and a bearded man. The final panel reveals a bizarre group of figures, including a pale surprised face and a dark-haired person. The joke is the dramatic buildup to an absurd, unexplained reveal, making it useful as a reaction to something strange or overhyped.
