Don't Cry, I'm Just a Fish

Text on the meme

don't cry I am just a FISH

What it means

A blurry fish swims and flips around on a white background while the captions gradually read “don't cry / I am just a / FISH.” The melodramatic reassurance paired with an ordinary fish, set to the melancholic indie-rock song “Freaks” by Surf Curse, makes the clip absurdly emotional and funny as a reaction to overreacting.
