Eternal Suffering Incident
eternal suffering incident Desire is the root of all suffering Receive instruction to cease all desires Realise that the desire to cease all desires is a desire in itself
A four-panel comic shows troll-faced figures parodying Buddhist teachings about desire and suffering. The final panel reveals the absurd paradox that wanting to eliminate all desires is itself another desire, ending with an unsettling close-up reaction. It is used as an ironic reaction to philosophical overthinking or an inescapable logical contradiction.
