Pepe the Frog starts close-up, then rapidly recedes through views of Earth, the local stellar neighborhood, the Milky Way, and nearby galaxies until he is shown as the extremely distant galaxy GN-z11. The joke exaggerates feeling insignificant or impossibly far away, making it useful as an absurd reaction to disappearing, distancing oneself, or being overwhelmed by the scale of a situation.
